Ieesha Gray

Ieesha Gray a self proclaimed artist was born June 28,1973, in Rockville, MD. She is a lifetime resident of Gaithersburg, MD, where she attended school and developed her love for art. Ieesha is known locally as a vocalist and member of the gospel group the Dunston Family. Although Ieesha was always surrounded by music and art, it wasn't until she was in her 20’s that her love for music, people, beauty and life began to manifest itself through art. She would “scribble” to pass time, sketch life as she saw it and as it passed her by.  Those drawings, which she called, scribble scrabble were her dreams, memories and visions. As she began to recognize her passion for art she decided to study fine art and graphic design at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD. Ms. Gray is well on her way to achieving her goals of being a known artist. She states, “My work looks at life from many perspectives with the most fearsome of them all being my own.”
